LIVING OVERSEAS from my eyes.. CONCLUSION

CONCLUSION
As my journey, as I must say, I think is coming to an end. Not to say I will not travel again, but just will not live permanent in another country again, only because for two things really, firstly, I have ran out of countries I can work legally in on a working holiday visa, and secondly, I am not getting any younger, neither is my family, I have missed seeing my nephew and niece grow up. Humans are always the cutest when they are babies, and then something happens. I have to think about spending more time now with my family, and with myself start thinking about settling down myself. That’s excepting if my visa gets reissued for Canada for a season or two or if I go to teach English in China, or Japan , or South America, but that needs to happen first.
There is only one thing I don’t like about settling down, and that is getting a loan, to buy a house. I don’t like being tied down. Financial experts and advertising all say don’t throw your money away by renting, but at the end of the day, by being tied down with a loan you are throwing your life away. You are only here for 100 years, if you’re lucky. You got to live every day, as it’s your last day, don’t have any regrets, go out and have fun and enjoy.
There is one thing I hate, we all go to school for thirteen years maybe longer in some cases, which is okay because we need education. But for those people who go out get married, buy a house, have kids at a early age are tied down to their forties, they work hard again for the next twenty years, until they retire, hoping when they retire, that’s when they are going to start to enjoy life by going traveling seeing the world etc etc. that’s not far from the truth, how many elderly people can do the same thing as a young person between 20 and 25, not many if any. You can’t get the experience of working in another country, you can’t party, and you can’t experiment with things.
My only regret over the time I have been traveling is that I started too late, I wish I started at a much early age around twenty, twenty one, or so not twenty five, twenty six as I did, I could have worked in a few more other countries and experienced how they lived and have fun. If I could give any valuable advice to any youngster, this would be that, get educated first, and then travel, work, experience other cultures, have fun at a early age and settle down in your mid thirties. You can still travel when you retire, but at that age you will be interested in different things.
That is not all; the experience that you will learn as from the result of traveling and working in other countries will make you personally a better person. I know I’m a better person from the result of doing what I did.
As I have came to the end, of sharing with you my beliefs and experiences. I hope you have enjoyed my story, and hope you take something away from this book, or my goal I set myself when I started to write this book, to advise people what it is really like out there and to help you, or I failed. I don’t want this book to be a movie or a best seller; I just want people to value and enjoy their life a bit more.
If you don’t agree with anything I have said in this book, or even you want to pass on any comments, I would be glad to hear your views. Please email me at andrewam26@hotmail.com
Go out, have fun, and enjoy!!
Thank you
